The 2023-24 Panini Prizm Premier League is the third annual installment of Panini's flagship EPL product, released February 14, 2024. It followed the same proven formula as previous years — 300-card base, massive parallel rainbow, premium insert chase — but arrived in a market that was cooling significantly from the pandemic-era highs. The 300-card base set covers all 20 Premier League clubs. The parallel rainbow is enormous with 50+ variants spread across five box formats, each with exclusive chase cards. Hobby gets Genesis, Snakeskin, Mojo, Hyper, Ice, and Lazer. Breakaway has its own circular-pattern rainbow from unnumbered through Pink /149, Blue /99, Red /49, Purple /25, Gold /10, and Black 1/1. Choice offers Tiger Stripe, Zebra, and the coveted Nebula 1/1. Numbered parallels span from Blue /299 through Purple & White Stripes /92, Blue Ice /75, Gold /10, Green /5, to Black 1/1. The short-print insert chase remains the product's strongest draw. Color Blast (30 cards) continues as Prizm's most iconic insert. Manga (30) delivers anime-style art. The auto program features Signatures (49), Penmanship (35), Club Legends Signatures (5), and Dual Signatures (9). Each has parallel variants down to Black 1/1. Hobby and Choice boxes guarantee 1 auto each; Breakaway does not. The honest reality: boxes that launched at now sell for ~, and the 2022-23 version dropped to . The rookie class was weak — Panini diverted key prospects to other releases. But at current market prices, the product offers genuine value for collectors who want the Prizm experience without paying launch-day premiums.
